Omnivore flashlight for TSHTF - an implementation

I think it's critical to have a lite that can run on several commonly available cells.

Got a new body from FiveMega, 2x18500 or 3x123 and here are some fresh pics I took.

Just a reminder why I love Malkoff M60LL, it's an incredibly diverse module and in the right body, becomes a lite that can eat all kinds of cells. The ultimate TSHTF module.

I usually run it on 18500s, but if out, I can take 18650 and a spacer.

If out of Li-Ion, go to 123 primaries. Get a very strong 80 lumens with both. Feels like about 1/2 bright as M60 though, which is at 240 lumens.

Now if out of primaries, go to AA cells. Runs very well on 2xAA Energizer Lith.

If out of Lith AAs, go to Eneloops or whatever NiMh cell you have. Admittedly, it's much weaker and probably doesn't even make it to 30 lumens with NiMH.

Get tired of that, stick Alks in it. Full brightness.

If out of Alks and all you can find is "heavy duty" non-Alkaline, it will work on that also, which is amazing.

With Malkoff M60LL in a Surefire 9P clone, it's impossible to not find cells for it. Of course, many don't need to "find" cells, they already have them. What I like about the concept is that I can use AAs from the GPS or radio if I run out of 123s.
